Who I am…

I am a fourth-year medical student at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, pursuing a dual degree with a Master’s in Medical Education. I also hold a Master’s degree in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. As a FAER MSARF scholar and former Duke University Orthopedic Surgery Research Fellow, my academic and professional experiences are diverse. Beyond titles and degrees, I am a summation of the incredible people in my life (some pictured right) who have guided and molded me into someone deeply passionate about:

  • Medicine: with specific interests in critical care medicine, geriatric medicine, palliative care, and preventative health

  • Law: focusing on health law, education law, prisoner health, and policy reform

  • Medical education: preserving it in alignment with the foundational roots of the profession

  • Promoting equitable access to rigorous education: including guiding students in crafting essays that authentically reflect their uniqueness for degree-granting programs
